Danaë’s father feared a prophecy that his grandson would kill him, so he imprisoned his daughter to protect her from suitors. Yet Jupiter, king of the gods, fell in love with Danaë, and he came to her in the form of gold streaming from the sky. Gentileschi adopted Caravaggio’s method of painting directly from models, pulled to the front of the picture plane, which gives the painting a startling, tangible quality. However, the graceful way he handled paint and human gestures lends the work a poetic quality unique to the artist.

- Mbipụta kwaaji: The canvas print, not to be mistaken with a painting on a canvas, is a digital replica printed on a cotton canvas. A canvas produces the unique impression of three dimensionality. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy and straightforward to hang up your Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. Hence, a canvas print is suited for any type of wall.
- Mbipụta iko acrylic (nke nwere ezigbo mkpuchi iko): An print on acrylic glass, often labelled as a fine art print on plexiglass, transforms your favorite original into décor. The work of art is being custom-made with modern UV print technology. This creates deep and rich color hues. The great benefit of an acrylic glass fine art copy is that contrasts plus granular image details become more exposed with the help of the precise gradation.
- Aluminom ihe eji eme ihe: Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an impressive effect of depth, creating a fashionable look with a non-reflective surface. For your Aluminium Dibond print, we print your favorite artwork onto the aluminium composite surface. Colors are luminous in the highest definition, details are clear and crisp, and there’s a matte look that you can literally feel.
- Mpempe akwụkwọ mmado ebipụtara na akwa akwa: The Artprinta poster print is a printed cotton canvas with a slight finish on the surface, that reminds the actual version of the masterpiece. It is appropriate for placing your art replica with a personal frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of around 2 - 6cm round about the artwork to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.

Ozi dị mkpa: We try whatever we can in order to describe our products as exact as possible and to illustrate them visually in our shop. Although, some tone of the printing material, as well as the print result can vary to a certain extent from the representation on the monitor. Depending on your screen settings and the quality of the surface, not all colors will be printed as exactly as the digital version. In view of the fact that the fine art prints are processed and printed by hand, there may also be slight deviations in the exact position and the size of the motif.
