  • Mpempe akwụkwọ (ihe kwaaji): The poster print is a printed flat canvas with a slight surface finish. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of approximately 2-6 cm around the work of art in order to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
  • Aluminom ihe eji eme ihe: These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with an outstanding depth effect. For your Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the selected artwork right onto the aluminium composite white-primed surface. The white and bright parts of the work of art shine with a silk gloss but without the glare. The colors are luminous and bright in the highest definition, fine details appear crisp and clear, and the print has a a matte look you can literally feel.

However, the pigments of the printed materials, as well as the print result may differ marginally from the presentation on the device's screen. Depending on the settings of your screen and the quality of the surface, not all colors will be printed as realisitcally as the digital version on this website. Considering that our fine art prints are processed and printed by hand, there might as well be minor discrepancies in the size and exact position of the motif.

By the mid-1880s, Claude Monet had distanced himself from the modern city, seeking landscape subjects in various parts of France instead. The Norman town of Étretat was famous for its cliffs, rock formations, and fashionable summer homes, but Boats on the Beach at Étretat shows none of these familiar sights. Forced indoors by inclement weather, Monet painted this narrow view of the beach from his room in the Hôtel Blanquet, where he stayed from mid-October to mid-December 1885. In a letter to his future wife, he noted that he had spent the afternoon “painting the caloges [disused fishing boats covered with tarred planks and used for storage] in the rain.”
