This painting is believed to be a remaining component of a six-panel altarpiece. The large central panel is now preserved in the Museu National d’Art de Catalunya in Barcelona. Ferrer collaborated with the painter Pere Garcia de Benavarri on this commission. Spanish works like these often feature elaborate treatment of the gold background, evident here in the exuberant raised decoration (called pastiglia) in the haloes. As a symbol of his dominion over the world, Christ holds an orb in his left hand; he bestows a blessing with his right hand. The Virgin kneels above him in rapt adoration. Using the wattle fence almost as a church pew, two shepherds express humble piety; one removes his hat and the other clasps his hands in prayer.

- Mbipụta akwụkwọ mmado (ihe kwaaji): Our poster is a printed sheet of flat canvas with a nice structure on the surface. It is perfectly suited for putting your art copy with a custom-made frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin between 2-6cm round about the print in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
- Mbipụta kwaaji: The printed canvas material stretched on a wood frame. Canvas Prints have the advantage of being low in weight, meaning that it is easy and straightforward to hang up your Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. A canvas print is suited for all types of walls.
- Mbipụta enyo acrylic: An print on acrylic glass, which is often named as a print on plexiglass, will transform the original into brilliant home décor. Your work of art will be made thanks to the help of state-of-the-art UV print technology. It makes rich and sharp color tones. The major upside of an acrylic glass art print is that sharp contrasts plus granular image details become more identifiable due to the very subtle tonal gradation.
- Metal (aluminium debond mbipụta): Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an impressive depth effect - for a modern impression and a non-reflective surface structure. The bright & white parts of the artpiece shimmer with a silky gloss, however without the glow. Colors are luminous and bright in the highest definition, the details are clear and crisp, and the print has a a matte appearance you can literally feel. The direct UV print on aluminium is one of the most popular entry-level products and is a truly modern way to display fine art reproductions, as it puts all of the viewer’s focus on the replica of the artwork.

Ederede iwu: We do whatever we can to describe our art products as precisely as possible and to showcase them visually on the various product detail pages. However, the pigments of the print products and the imprint may differ slightly from the presentation on the device's monitor. Depending on your screen settings and the quality of the surface, color pigments can unfortunately not be printed as realistically as the digital version depicted here. Because all our are printed and processed manually, there might also be minor variations in the motif's size and exact position.
