One of Remington’s favorite themes was the American soldier in the West, of whom he wrote, “His heroism is called duty, and it probably is.” Here, soldiers led by a scout in buckskin charge an unseen enemy. Although the painting was probably meant to refer to the war against the Plains Indians in the 1860s—Remington titled it "Cavalry in Sixties"—the uniforms and weapons date variously from the time of the Civil War through the 1870s. The artist was willing to depart from reality in other details as well. For example, the horses and riders are shown as a dynamic mass rather than in a straight horizontal line, which was the usual attack formation.

- Mbipụta kanvas: The printed canvas material stretched on a wood frame. A canvas print has the advantage of being low in weight, which means that it is easy and straightforward to hang up your Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. Therefore, a canvas print is suited for all kinds of walls.
- Mbipụta iko acrylic (nke nwere ezigbo mkpuchi iko): The print on acrylic glass, often referenced as a plexiglass print, will transform the artwork into brilliant décor. What is more, the acrylic glass fine art print makes a viable alternative option to dibond or canvas fine art replicas. The great advantage of an acrylic glass art print is that contrasts plus small color details will be more recognizeable due to the delicate tonal gradation.
- Bipụta akwụkwọ mmado n'ihe kwaaji: The poster print is a printed flat canvas with a fine texture on the surface, that resembles the actual artwork. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6cm around the work of art to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
- Aluminom dibond (ọkpụkpụ ọla): This is a metal print manufactured on aluminium dibond with a true effect of depth - for a modern look and a non-reflective surface structure. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the excellent introduction to art reproductions with aluminum.

Nkwupụta iwu: We try all that we can to depict our products as accurate as possible and to illustrate them visually in our shop. Nevertheless, the colors of the printing material and the print result can differ slightly from the representation on the device's screen. Depending on the screen settings and the condition of the surface, color pigments might not be printed as realistically as the digital version depicted here. In view of the fact that all our art prints are printed and processed by hand, there might as well be slight differences in the motif's size and exact position.
