This impressive panel bears the signature of Aelbert Cuyp, and until recently was never doubted as his work. Cuyp's paintings were widely appreciated in the eighteenth century, and attracted a number of imitators. The most capable of them, Jacob van Strij, is very probably the author of this picture. Among the qualities that indicate an eighteenth-century painter are the impasto treatment of the clouds, the simplified highlights, the saturated greens and blues, and a tendency to render details as picturesque accents. Several motifs are repeated from paintings by Cuyp. The right background, for example, is derived from the so-called Salmon Fishing in the Mauritshuis, The Hague.

- Mbipụta kwaaji: The canvas print, which shall not be confused with an artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital replica printed from an industrial printer. A canvas has the unique look of three-dimensionality. Additionally, a canvas produces a lively and pleasing look. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without the support of extra wall-mounts. A canvas print is suited for any type of wall.
- Mbipụta aluminom (aluminium dibbond): Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an impressive depth effect. A non-reflective surface structure creates a fashionable look. The white & bright parts of the artpiece shine with a silky gloss, however without glow.
- Mbipụta enyo acrylic: An acrylic glass print, which is sometimes denoted as a print on plexiglass, will convert the original work of art into brilliant home decoration and makes a distinct alternative option to aluminium or canvas prints. Your favorite artwork is being printed with the help of state-of-the-art UV print machines. The acrylic glass protects your custom fine art print against light and heat for many more years to come.
- Poster (akwa akwa akwa): The Artprinta poster print is a printed flat canvas with a granular structure on the surface. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm round about the print to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
