According to the apocryphal book of the Bible that bears her name, the Jewish heroine Judith saved the city of Bethulia by first beguiling and then beheading the Assyrian general Holofernes. A popular subject of Baroque painting, Judith appears here accompanied by her maid and displaying Holfernes’s severed head as a trophy. This painting was acquired by an American collector during the French Revolution and donated to The Met shortly after its founding, in a reflection of the artist’s high position in nineteenth-century canons of taste.

The product dropdown menu provides you with the chance to choose your individual size and material. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:

  • Mbipụta akwụkwọ mmado (akwa akwa akwa): Our poster is a UV printed cotton canvas paper with a slight surface finish. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm round about the artwork to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
  • Mbipụta enyo acrylic: A glossy acrylic glass print, which is often referenced as a print on plexiglass, will change your favorite artwork into lovely décor. Your own replica of the work of art will be custom-made with state-of-the-art UV direct printing machines. The major benefit of a plexiglass fine art copy is that contrasts plus smaller painting details will be more visible with the help of the fine gradation. The real glass coating protects your selected art print against light and heat for between 40-60 years.
  • Mbipụta aluminom (aluminium dibbond): These are metal prints on alu dibond material with an outstanding depth effect. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is the best introduction to the sophisticated world of fine art reproductions manufactured on alu. For your Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print your favorite artpiece right on the aluminium composite white-primed surface. The bright parts of the original work of art shimmer with a silky gloss, however without glow.
  • Kwaaji: A canvas direct print is a printed canvas mounted on a wood stretcher. It makes a plastic impression of three-dimensionality. Your canvas of this masterpiece will let you turn your individual art print into a large collection piece as you would see in a gallery. Canvas Prints have the advantage of being low in weight, which implies that it is quite simple to hang up your Canvas print without the use of extra wall-mounts. Therefore, a canvas print is suitable for any type of wall.
