Marie Dihau was a successful pianist and singer who lived in Lille but often came to Paris to perform. She recalled that Degas executed this portrait quickly at a restaurant. Shown in sharp profile, wedged between the remnants of a finished meal and a carpetbag, the sitter—a traveling musician whom Degas typically caught on the run—effectively makes a cameo appearance in this compelling character study. Her brother Désiré, a bassoonist for the Paris Opéra, is the second figure from the left in Degas’s The Ballet from Robert le Diable (29.100.552).

  • Mbipụta enyo acrylic: The acrylic glass print, which is sometimes referenced as a an art print on plexiglass, makes the original artwork into brilliant home decoration. Besides, the acrylic glass fine art print makes a good alternative option to canvas and aluminidum dibond art prints. The work of art is custom-made with the help of state-of-the-art UV print technology.
  • Metal (aluminium debond mbipụta): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an outstanding depth. The non-reflective surface creates a modern look. The white & bright parts of the original work of art shimmer with a silky gloss but without the glare. The colors of the print are luminous and vivid in the highest definition, the fine details of the print are very clear.
  • Mbipụta kwaaji: The UV printed canvas material stretched on a wood frame. A canvas makes the distinctive impression of three-dimensionality. A canvas print has the advantage of being low in weight, which means that it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. Because of thata canvas print is suited for any type of wall.
  • Mpempe akwụkwọ ederede (akwa akwa akwa): The poster print is a printed sheet of flat canvas paper with a fine surface finish. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of approximately 2-6 cm around the print, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
