Original artwork description from The Metropolitan Museum of Art website (© - The Metropolitan Museum of Art - www.metmuseum.org)
This intentionally claustrophobic composition is characteristic of the Antwerp Mannerist style of the first half of the sixteenth century. The scene is viewed up close, with half-length, gesticulating figures separated from the viewer by a fictive ledge. Finely wrought goldsmith work—such as was actually produced for the opulent taste of the cosmopolitan community in Antwerp—abounds. The caricature-like features of the Magi and their retinue reveal the artist’s interest in the extreme physiognomic types popularized by Leonardo da Vinci and made available through prints. It was this interest in the psychology of physiognomy that made Metsys such a gifted portraitist.

- Akwụkwọ mmado ebipụtara (ihe kwaaji): The Artprinta poster is a printed sheet of canvas paper with a nice surface structure. A poster print is suited for putting your art replica with a customized frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6 cm around the artwork, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
- Mbipụta ọla (aluminium dibbond): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an impressive depth effect. For our Aluminium Dibond print, we print the selected artpiece onto the aluminium composite white-primed surface. The bright & white parts of the artpiece shine with a silk gloss, however without the glare.
- Mbipụta kanvas: The canvas print, which should not be confused with a real artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital image applied onto cotton canvas material. A canvas of this work of art will give you the unique opportunity of transforming your custom into a large collection piece. Hanging a canvas print: Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without the support of any wall-mounts. That is why, canvas prints are suitable for all kinds of walls.
- Ugogbe acrylic ebipụtara: An acrylic glass print, which is sometimes labelled as a print on plexiglass, changes your favorite original artwork into brilliant décor. The work of art is printed with modern UV direct print machines. The special effect of this are rich and impressive colors.

Ihe dị mkpa: We try everything to depict the products with as many details as possible and to illustrate them visually on the different product detail pages. Although, the tone of the printing material, as well as the imprint can diverge slightly from the image on your screen. Depending on your screen settings and the nature of the surface, colors might not be printed as exactly as the digital version shown here. Because our art prints are processed and printed by hand, there may as well be minor deviations in the motif's exact position and the size.
