Nkwupụta iwu: We try what we can to describe the products with as many details as possible and to exhibit them visually on the product detail pages. Nonetheless, the colors of the printing material, as well as the printing can differ to a certain extent from the image on your monitor. Depending on the screen settings and the quality of the surface, not all color pigments are printed one hundret percent realistically. Because all our fine art prints are processed and printed manually, there may also be slight variations in the size and exact position of the motif.

In 1874 Thomas Kensett presented the Museum with thirty-eight paintings found in the studio of his brother, John Frederick Kensett, after he died. Since the artist had executed most of them in the summer of 1872, just prior to his death in December, the paintings are known collectively as his “Last Summer’s Work." This is one of numerous studies Kensett made of the meadow and salt marshes near Contentment Island, Connecticut, during the fall of that year.
