The upper left corner of this painting bears a dedication by Degas "to his dear friends." The double portrait depicts Paul Lafond (left), future curator of the art museum at Pau, in southwestern France, and Alphonse Cherfils (right), an art collector and defender of the Impressionists. Through the influence of these friends, Degas's works were selected for the annual exhibitions of the Société des Amis des Arts (Society of Friends of the Arts), and his painting, A Cotton Office (1873), was the first by the artist to be purchased by a museum. Since the painting held by the two men is probably by Degas, this intimate image commemorates both personal and business relationships.

In 1880 the male painter Edgar Degas made this painting titled Paul Lafond and Alphonse Cherfils Examining a Painting. • Kwaaji: A UV printed canvas applied on a wooden frame. A canvas generates the plastic impression of three dimensionality. A canvas print of this work of art will let you turn your own art print into a large work of art as you know from art galleries. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight. This means, it is easy to hang your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Hence, a canvas print is suited for any type of wall in your house.
  • Akwụkwọ mmado ebipụtara (akwa akwa akwa): Our poster print is a UV printed canvas with a slightly roughened surface finish, which resembles the actual version of the work of art. Please note, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6 cm round about the print motif in order to facilitate the framing.
  • Mbipụta iko acrylic (nke nwere ezigbo mkpuchi iko): An acrylic glass print, which is sometimes named as a UV print on plexiglass, will convert your favorite original work of art into brilliant wall decoration. The work of art will be printed thanks to the help of modern UV print machines. This has the effect of vibrant, sharp colors.
  • Metal (aluminium debond mbipụta): An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with an outstanding depth - for a modern impression and a non-reflective surface structure. For the Aluminium Dibond option, we print your favorite artpiece onto the aluminium composite white-primed surface. The bright & white parts of the original work of art shimmer with a silky gloss but without any glare.
