This portrait was probably painted just before Goya contracted the illness that caused his deafness and affected him intermittently for the rest of his life. During his convalescence, he spent several months in the sitter's home; their friendship is recorded on the sheet of paper in Martínez's hand, which reads: "Don Sebastián Martínez by his friend Goya 1792." Martínez was a famous collector of books, prints, and paintings. He held the position of chief treasurer of the Finance Committee of Cadiz, a flourishing harbor town linked by trade with England and France.

The white & bright parts of the work of art shimmer with a silk gloss, however without glare.
- Mbipụta enyo acrylic: The acrylic glass print, which is sometimes referenced as a an art print on plexiglass, changes your favorite original into beautiful décor. Above all, the acrylic glass print is a great alternative to canvas or aluminium dibond fine art prints. Your artwork is being printed with the help of state-of-the-art UV printing machines. The great advantage of an acrylic glass art print is that contrasts and also minor image details become visible due to the subtle tonal gradation. Our plexiglass with real glass coating protects your selected fine art print against sunlight and heat for up to six decades.
- Kwaaji: A printed canvas, not to be confused with a painting on a canvas, is a digital image applied on a canvas material. It makes a plastic effect of three-dimensionality. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight. That means, it is easy and straightforward to hang up your Canvas print without the help of additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for any type of wall.
- Bipụta akwụkwọ mmado n'ihe kwaaji: The Artprinta poster is a UV printed canvas with a fine finish on the surface. It is perfectly designed for placing your art replica in a custom frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin 2-6cm around the work of art in order to facilitate the framing.
