Williams is one of the few British painters by whom Thorvaldsen acquired any works. He was born in Wales and trained in the Royal Academy in London. He lived in Rome from 1827. Thorvaldsen lived permanently in Rome until 1838, when he returned to Denmark. But in 1841/42 he made a brief return to Rome, on which occasion he commissioned this painting of the two shepherd children.

  • Aluminom dibond (ọkpụkpụ ọla): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an outstanding effect of depth - for a modern look and non-reflective surface structure. For the Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the selected artwork onto the aluminium composite surface. The direct UV print on Aluminum Dibond is one of the most demanded entry-level products and is a truly contemporary way to display fine art reproductions, because it puts the viewer’s focus on the image.
  • Akwụkwọ mmado na ihe kwaaji: The poster print is a printed sheet of canvas paper with a slightly rough texture on the surface, that reminds the original work of art. The poster print is best appropriate for framing the fine art print with a custom frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm around the work of art, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.

Ozi dị mkpa: We try whatever we can to describe our art products as exact as we can and to demonstrate them visually. Nevertheless, the tone of the print products and the imprint can diverge somehwat from the presentation on the device's screen. Depending on the settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, color pigments might not be printed 100% realistically. Given that all fine art prints are printed and processed manually, there might also be minor deviations in the motif's exact position and the size.
