A man on a ladder has placed a noose around the neck of a statue of a saint, while below three men stand ready to topple it from its socle. At the right a statue has been brutally hacked in half. In August 1566 fanatic Protestants destroyed altarpieces, statues and sacred vessels used for the Catholic Mass in countless churches throughout the Netherlands. It was a black day in Dutch history, and one rarely depicted in art.

In the dropdown selection next to the article you can select the material and sizeaccording to your individual preferences. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:

  • Mbipụta kanvas: A canvas print, not to be mistaken with a canvas painting, is a digital replica applied directly on cotton canvas material. Your canvas print of this masterpiece will provide you with the chance of turning your individual fine art print into a large artwork. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which means that it is quite simple to hang your Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suitable for any type of wall.
  • Mbipụta nke aluminom: An Aluminium Dibond print is a print material with a true depth, which makes a modern impression with a surface structure, that is not reflective.
  • Mbipụta iko acrylic (nke nwere ezigbo mkpuchi iko): An print on acrylic glass, which is often denoted as a print on plexiglass, will transform the original artwork into wall décor. Further, the acrylic glass print forms a good alternative to aluminium or canvas art prints. The artwork will be custom-made with modern UV print technology. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts and also details will be more exposed because of the granular gradation of the print. The real glass coating protects your selected art print against light and heat for many years to come.
  • Mbipụta akwụkwọ mmado (akwa akwa akwa): Our poster print is a printed sheet of canvas with a granular finish on the surface. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of around 2 - 6cm round about the work of art, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
