This composition combines Rousseau's admiration for eighteenth-century still life painting with an emphasis on contemporary, everyday details, such as the copy of the newspaper Le Figaro at left and the letter at center, addressed to the artist at his home in Acquigny in northern France. The succulent ham is garnished with a sprig of bay leaves. Still lifes such as this brought Rousseau great success in fashionable circles; the present picture may have been exhibited at the Salon of 1877 as Le Déjeuner (The Lunch).

  • Aluminom dibond mbipụta (ọla): These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with a true depth effect. A non-reflective surface structure creates a contemporary look. The bright & white components of the original work of art shimmer with a silky gloss, however without the glow. The colors are luminous in the highest definition, fine details are crisp and clear.
  • Kwaaji: The printed canvas stretched on a wooden stretcher frame. A canvas print has the advantage of being low in weight. That means, it is quite simple to hang up your Canvas print without the help of additional wall-mounts. Therefore, canvas prints are suited for any kind of wall.
  • Mbipụta akwụkwọ mmado (akwa akwa akwa): A poster is a printed sheet of cotton canvas with a fine texture on the surface. The poster is suited for placing your fine art print in a customized frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm round about the artwork, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Ihe odide acrylic glass: The acrylic glass print, which is often referenced as a UV print on plexiglass, makes an original artwork into beautiful décor. Your own replica of the work of art is custom-made with the help of state-of-the-art UV print machines.
