- Mpempe akwụkwọ (ihe kwaaji): Our poster is a UV printed cotton canvas with a slight surface texture. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2 - 6cm round about the print, which facilitates the framing.
- Glass acrylic ebipụtara nwere mmetụta na-egbuke egbuke (ya na mkpuchi iko n'ezie): The acrylic glass print, often denoted as a UV print on plexiglass, transforms your favorite original into beautiful décor. The artwork is manufactured with the help of modern UV direct printing technology. This creates the image effect of intense and impressive colors.
- Mbipụta kanvas: The printed canvas, not to be mistaken with an artwork painted on a canvas, is an image printed on a cotton canvas material. Hanging your canvas print: Canvas Prints have the great advantage of being low in weight. This means, it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without the use of extra wall-mounts. Therefore, a canvas print is suited for all types of walls.
- Mbipụta nke aluminom: Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with a true depth effect - for a modern look and a non-reflective surface structure. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is your best introduction to art reproductions on alu. The bright parts of the original work of art shimmer with a silky gloss but without any glow. Colors are luminous in the highest definition, details of the print appear very clear.
Disclaimer: We try everything in order to describe the art products as accurate as we can and to illustrate them visually on the different product detail pages. At the same time, the tone of the printing material, as well as the print result might diverge slightly from the representation on the device's screen. Depending on the screen settings and the condition of the surface, color pigments might not be printed one hundret percent realistically. Because all our fine art prints are processed and printed by hand, there may also be slight deviations in the motif's exact position and the size.

General information from The Cleveland Museum of Art website (© - The Cleveland Museum of Art - www.clevelandart.org)
Duncanson was the first African American painter to achieve recognition at home and abroad. Although most of his career was spent in Cincinnati, he painted this calm, panoramic scene during a journey up the Mississippi River to Canada, which he likely made to escape the upheaval of the Civil War. Duncanson worked in Montreal and London, England, before returning home after the war.
