The Trough, dated 1804, was considered the original for another table in the Musée Cognac-Jay, "The Accident". This undated Is the picture of the same subject exhibited at the 1793 Salon? We do not know these two pendants, non-localized, and have seen that poor photographs that hardly allow to judge of their bill. If well autographs and if the mentioned date was read correctly, these two works, painted four years before the tables Cognac-Jay, would be original and "The Trough" of Cognac-Jay Museum a beautiful replica course of hand of the artist (see Burollet, Therese, 2004 p.273).
