A pupil of Paolo Panini in Rome, Joli was active as a scene painter in northern Italy and especially in Venice (1732–42), where he was influenced by the work of Canaletto. From 1744 until 1748 he worked in London at the King's Theatre in the Haymarket and also produced topographical paintings. The present picture combines the two genres; the imaginary foreground is inspired by antiquity, while in the background is a view of the north bank of the Thames with St. Paul's cathedral, the Tower of London, and Old London Bridge.

  • Mbipụta aluminom (aluminium dibbond): Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with a true depth, which creates a modern look with a non-reflective surface. The bright components of the original artpiece shimmer with a silk gloss, however without glare. This direct print on Aluminum Dibond is one of the most popular entry-level products and is an extremely contemporary way to display art, since it draws attention on the whole artwork.
  • Bipụta na iko acrylic na-egbuke egbuke: The print on acrylic glass, which is sometimes described as a plexiglass print, makes the original work of art into gorgeous wall decoration. The work of art is being custom-made with the help of modern UV direct printing technology. The major benefit of an acrylic glass art print is that sharp contrasts as well as details will be more visible because of the granular gradation of the picture.
  • Akwụkwọ mmado na ihe kwaaji: A poster is a printed canvas with a slightly roughened finish on the surface. It is particularly designed for putting your art replica in a personal frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm around the painting to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
  • Mbipụta kwaaji: A printed canvas mounted on a wood frame. A canvas makes a exclusive effect of three dimensionality. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is quite simple to hang the Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for any kind of wall.
