This intimately-scaled picture depicts a soldier and two sailors at the military citadel popularly known as Kastellet, which is situated to the north of Copenhagen’s old city. Rørbye’s teacher, Eckersberg, specialized in maritime subjects, but these figures, with their backs to the viewer and illuminated solely by moonlight, embody a sense of Romantic longing that recalls works by Dahl as well as German artists of the period.

- Aluminom ihe eji eme ihe: These are metal prints on aluminium dibond material with an outstanding depth effect. Its non-reflective surface structure make a contemporary look. The Aluminium Dibond Print is the ideal start to the sophisticated world of fine art reproductions on aluminum. For the Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the selected artwork on the aluminium composite white-primed surface. The colors of the print are luminous in the highest definition, fine details appear clear and crisp.
- Ihe odide acrylic glass: The print on acrylic glass, often denoted as a UV print on plexiglass, makes the original work of art into great home decoration. The work of art will be printed with modern UV print machines. The result of this are intense and impressive colors. The real glass coating protects your custom fine art print against light and external influences for many years.
- Kwaaji: The canvas direct print is a printed cotton canvas stretched on a wood frame. Canvas Prints have the advantage of being relatively low in weight, meaning that it is quite simple to hang your Canvas print without the help of any wall-mounts. That is why, a canvas print is suitable for all kinds of walls.
- Mbipụta akwụkwọ mmado (akwa akwa akwa): The Artprinta poster print is a printed canvas with a fine texture on the surface. It is ideally used for placing the art replica using a custom-made frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm round about the print motif, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
