The treatment of prisoner of war by the Tupinamba Indians, in three scenes. Left a procession of Indians armed with a central leader in a palanquin accompanied by some musicians. In the middle of a procession of Indians armed with clubs, bows and arrows and spears, center Indians in white robes with a stick with feathers on a sedan. Right naked warriors with a prisoner tied with ropes on the ground and the right to fire single women with children. Probably a frieze on a mantelpiece, presumably from the Colonial Warehouse of the Dutch West India Company in Amsterdam.
