English: Georg Pauli was in Grez in 1884. This study was probably made in the spring of that year. Like many other Swedes in Grez, Pauli found the setting for his painting in one of the guesthouse gardens in the village. In the summer, Pauli went to the coast and the village of Ver-sur-Mer, with Robert Thegerström and others. Georg Pauli vistades i Grez under 1884.
